What a gorgeous weekend! Our first spike into the 70s and it was purrrrfect. I spent the weekend filling in holes Lucy dug in my garden and digging up part of the lawn where the dirt was so compact grass wouldn’t grow anymore.
And? There were bubbles.
I created this mosaic over at Big Huge Labs, thanks to a link from Dacia. It was so easy, I’ll definitely try that again.
What’s the weather like where you are? Did you have a fun weekend?
Be warned: what you see here is not my best work. It is what Anne Lamott describes in Bird By Bird as a series of “shitty first drafts.” Blogging dragged me kicking and screaming out of creative constipation by getting me to actually write. So I do that. A lot. Without worrying about every word choice or comma placement.

ugh! it’s cold, windy and we just got new snow-slush……and I was just locating my tulip leaves popping up through the mulched beds.
and i was also just getting inspired to do something with avocados…. but now it feels more like chicken pot pie or some other comfort food is in order!!
maybe next weekend spring will show it’s face…..
