Introverted mom seeking extrovert for translating communications with extroverted daughter.
Common misunderstood phrases include (but are not limited to):
“But I don’t want to be alone outside!” when asked to take out the recycling.
“But I don’t want to be alone in my room!” when asked to get dressed.
“But I don’t want to be alone!” when asked to stay in her room until 7am.

Sold! 🙂 Yeah, I’m totally with her on all those things. I hate going to the grocery store by myself… hate being at home alone… My advice would be books- they were a godsend to me as an extroverted child with introverted parents.
I could have written that. Daughter… close to Ruthie’s age… same thing. I don’t get it. Neither does little sister who, as you can imagine, is constantly under pressure to be the company…
