Wow, what a story, Jen! It sounds like God used you in a really amazing way to help someone in need of comfort, while also teaching you about something (hospitality) that you've been meditating on for a while now. He's so efficient and so ready to answer our prayers when we asked Him to teach us more about what it means to live the Christian life. I won't forget this, as it was convicting for someone like me who finds it easy to go the route of checking out mentally and emotionally when God wants to use me to comfort and pursue others.
