Thanks for sharing. I am a personal slowly recovering from anger. Lately I've been saying "I need some space" when I get really fired up in a situation and then getting away, even if for 5 minutes. That has helped me cool down, process, and let God do a work in my heart.

So much great food for thought here. I love your insights, as I have a lot of the same struggles. I can never seem to trust God when things don't go my way, i.e. accept that maybe -- just maybe -- he could work it out if I don't finish that blog post before the kids wake up from nap. :)

Just now discovered your blog and look forward to reading more.

Good post, Jen. I read it primarily because Anger is not something I deal with (I deal with other issues, however). But Karen deals with this issue alot. Her dad dealt with anger when we were first married in 1971, but with the help of daily morning getting into the Word, his anger issues are not there except when he and Karen spark a response to each other. It is weird how that works. They are so much alike in that emotion.
I got my dear dad's easy going disposition and for that, and many other things, I thank the Lord for having such a dad (and mom) for blessing me. I can get down, but as I shared with you in previous year, because I am a Sanguine-type person, I cannot show that I am down much as people depend on me to be up all the time.
I need to go get that book - thanks for sharing.
